We all know hits from behind are illegal in the NHL, but what about when it's a fan, taking an ill-advised trip onto the ice, being hit? Like goalies outside their crease, this fan found out the hard way that they're fair game. Of course, it also helped that the referee was the actual one handing out the punishment. Nope, no call on that play.
