While N'Doye walked away unscathed, the bash was scarily reminiscent of the legendary collision in the 1982 World Cup Semis when German goalie Toni Schumacher hammered French forward Patrick Battiston like a freight train. The hit was vicious enough to warrant its own documentary, albeit a French one.
