This brawl broke out after the Buffalo Sabres scored their seventh goal in a game back in 2008, with the New York Islanders taking exception, clearly not aware that they were just a few short years away from being victimized every other night by a different team. They should have taken the opportunity to get used to the feeling of mediocrity instead of going down fighting. There really was no use. Rick DiPietro is their goalie for the next decade, after all.
